At Tynecastle Nursery School we provide high quality learning opportunities to enable each child to enjoy their nursery experience in a secure and caring environment where learning through play is valued, success is recognised and a positive attitude to learning is nurtured.
The nursery was created during the 1930’s and has a long history and positive reputation for educating and caring for young children aged 2 to 5. It is part of the Communities and Families Department of the City of Edinburgh Council.
We are very proud of our school and our children. The nursery provides a safe, secure and comfortable place for children to play and learn in a positive and happy atmosphere. Happiness is an important factor for us all. We want children, parents, carers and staff to work together and feel happy. We know that this is a key feature for successful learning and developing.
